Puppy Head Start

Our Puppy Head Start program is designed to give your puppy socialization and exposure to the training environment and the tools we will use in formal training. We provide exposure to birds, gun fire, boats, blinds, decoys, water, cover, and puppy crates. We take them into the home as well as on excursions to town and to competitive events for socialization. Your puppy will retrieve bumpers and birds on land and in the water. We accept puppies from age 18 weeks to 5 months old. We accept only a few puppies at a time for this program, so please make arrangements with us as early as possible.

Puppy
Head Start training is a great benefit to owners who do not have the
time or knowledge to raise a field trial, hunt test, or working
retriever. The best dogs often have begun their training with
dummies and real birds as soon as they are weaned. By making
retrieving an exciting experience early on, your dog will have a
love of retrieving all its life.
