Training Policies and Procedures

We train a minimum of 5 days per week in most weather conditions, making exceptions for extreme conditions. All visitors, drop-offs, and pick-ups are by appointment only.  Due to the nature of our business, we do not keep normal business hours. Unannounced or drop by visits of any kind are not allowed. We keep very tight training schedules and appointments. Unannounced visits will disrupt these scheduled activities as well as our personal schedules.

We encourage you to call us to check on your dog's progress as often as you like. During early training, especially obedience and force fetch, we discourage owner visits as this can disrupt the dog's adjustment and progress.  After the first month or so we encourage owners to visit, view their dog work, and learn about the training process. Again, please call us in advance if you want to visit.

Prior to or upon delivery of a dog for training, all clients are required to provide the following:

·         Completed Client & Dog Information Sheet

·         Signed Acknowledgment of Training Policies & Fees

·         Signed Liability Release

·         Proof of current vaccinations including DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis (CAV-2), Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus), Bordetella (canine kennel cough) and Rabies

·         Heartworm and flea & tick prevention

·         Any required medication

·         Any requested dog food

The first month's payment for training is due at the time your dog is dropped off. Dogs      being shipped home must go C.O.D. or the shipping costs must be paid in advance along     with your training bill before shipment. Shipping dates and times are subject to airline constraints, weather, and our prior commitments.
